Sweet Annabelle

How cool - I've been in business long enough to have the opportunity of photographing children as newborns and then as they grow. The first time I photographed Annabelle this year, she was 4 weeks old. Last Thursday we had a short session to capture some holiday pics and outdoor shots. Here are a few sneak peeks from that session...

What a pleasure to see her and her parents again, to play peek-a-boo and witness how her personality has blossomed.

Lucky me.

Sunday in the Park

Last weekend, I photographed Shaina in Old Town Alexandria.  A young actor/dancer, she has a classic "gibson girl" beauty.  Here is a sneak peek of our session...

I had a great time with you Shaina!  Many more great pics to share in the gallery soon!

NYC, Part III

The final session from NYC last week, was with one of my besties...the lovely, the talented and the brilliant Reiko!  The lady is gorgeous from the inside out.  Together we went through the proofs, and I know we were both pleased with the number of good pics, but there was one that just jumped out...

I mean - come on!  To me, this is her - strong, confident, beautiful and direct.

I adore her.

Sunshine On A Cloudy Day

Last Thursday, so many things were conspiring against our family photo session.  Dad, who is an actor, got a last minute job and had to - of course - take it, the day was cloudy and a little chilly with the threat of rain.  Mom braved the elements and decided that we would at least get pictures of her girls.  I'm so glad she did.  Here are a few peeks...

just look at all this gorgeousness...

showing me their moves...

 again with the beauty...

and pure joy...

I'll be back in the city next month to do "Part II" of this shoot and we will capture mom and dad and big brother then.

I'm looking forward to it.

Morning in NYC

One of the nicest things about photo sessions out of town is that there are few distractions, and so I had time to upload and quickly pull some images from my session this morning here in NYC before my afternoon headshot session.

So...this morning I spent a couple of hours with the amazing Liliana and her baby sister Gabriela and their beautiful mom, Charlene.  They live close to the park and we couldn't have had better weather...crisp and clean and clear.  Gabriela was so sweet and laid back - one of those truly happy babies.  Liliana was full of adventure, so smart and pretty and TWO!  Once again, it was my pleasure to spend time with and get to know wonderful young spirits.

Here are some peeks from the session...

I really do have a cool job.  Thanks for a wonderful morning ladies!
