Little Man

Last year, around this same time, I took a little boy's newborn photos and I was thrilled to hear from the family again to capture him and mom and dad after 1 year.   Sunday morning was crisp and cool, and it was a perfect autumn morning to take photos at Burke Lake Park.  This sweet family had such an amazing and loving chemistry together.  Here are a few pics from the session...

The Three Sisters

Yesterday I went to the home of Maggie, Cara and Pippa and had the pleasure of taking their photographs.  So much blue-eyed gorgeousness and a wonderful light-filled home - they made my work quite easy. 

The three sisters...



Our primary goal was to capture Pippa in all her 6-month glory...

But I couldn't help moving in close on all of them.

And finally, the crochet dress Pippa is wearing has been worn by every female in the family since her great-grandmother.  How cool is that?

Such an honor for me to take this family's photo on Sunday.  Sweet, loving and at ease in front of the camera and with each other.  Thank you Lt. Col. for your service to our country, my thoughts and prayers will be with you in the middle east and I look forward to taking your family photo again when you return safely home.

There are some young people you just know are going places...  Meet Terry.  He's a senior and he is one terrific kid.  We had a great time during the session this past Saturday.  There were SO many great shots - here are a few...

double the sweetness

Last winter, I met a young woman at the hair salon who told me that she was having twins in the fall.  I gave her my card and asked her to give me a call when they were born.  She called me a couple of weeks ago - the day after giving birth!  We got together on Friday to take some pictures.  I love newborn sessions - and this one was awesome!  Already at two weeks, these young ladies are showing their distinct personalities and beauty.  Here are a couple of images from the session - many more to come!
